Shubert

I always wondered. When bailing out the banks in '08, why not just erase the mortgages of the home owners? I'm not saying that taking on absurd levels of debt for an individual is wise (and then subsidizing these fools), but why not liberate those people from these problems so that they can continue to build something bigger and better?

Or simply sink the 1 Trillion dollars into new infrastructure (as in, new tunnels, bridges, etc.) Better roads and countless new jobs. Lehman Brothers can go die in a bush for all I care.
